The Bluesberry Brothers & other berryliciousness

Bluesberry Brothers
The Bluesberry Brothers

Custom t-shirt illustration and design for Wildwood Berry Farm.

Wildwood Berry Farm is a cool u-pick blueberry farm outside of Manchester, Vt in a small town called East Dorset. It’s one of my favorite places to visit. Up this winding country road set in the green mountains, there’s a magical little farm complete with giant wooden bear sculptures. Birds, berries, and fresh air, sometime’s you’ll see Mr. Blueberry out in the fields “tractoring”. In the country store, you can find Mrs. Blueberry, tons of cool t-shirts, homemade popsicles, handmade soaps, jams, honeys and maple syrups, and mini blueberry monster buckets for the kids… (I might have designed those :).

Also, you’ll see a giant version of  a map I did for them.

The Bluesberry Brothers is the latest t-shirt. Over the years I’ve designed a number of shirts for them, among all sorts of projects.

Art Dance Mashup Project

testing testing
My project window is from 4 – 6pm at Tanger Outlets The Walk in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 23, 2018.

Lead & follow dance. It’s almost kind of an installation of sorts, in and of itself. Temporary and visual, only really present in a couple of moments full of body language, rhythm, communication, energy, movement, gesture, cause and effect, interesting shapes and forms and lines… connection.

I’ve been refining this idea about art, dance, and communication and thinking up a way to capture it in a project. It finally feels like it might be starting to come together, which has me (really) excited. I got the opportunity to move along with this art / dance mashup project during 48Blocks. It should be interesting to explore one of the elements of lead & follow dance: connection, as an installation of sorts. A painting will become a byproduct of the dance conversation.

My project window is from 4 – 6pm at Tanger Outlets The Walk in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 23. I hope you can come.

Dance and music friends, 48 Blocks Atlantic City still has openings for performance art opportunities the weekend of June 22-24 (that’s the weekend before Liberty, wcs friends).

I wanted to pass that along because I know many of you guys are on dance teams, have performance groups, and are in bands.

For this event I’m doing an art – dance connection mashup project. It’s one I’ve been thinking up for some time. I’m pretty excited about it so please come see… and reach out if you want in. You’re going to find this hard to believe but it’s going to be messy and lead-follow partner dance-y and fun, of course. Time, location, details coming.

Check out what they have planned. I’ve been to some planning meetings and this is a group of wonderfully creative people.

I think there are still sponsorship opportunities available too.
