I have some exciting news to share! My painting, “Spinning,” won first place in oil painting at the Tinicum Arts Festival last weekend. While I always put my heart into my work, this recognition is truly humbling.

It’s from a series of paintings where social west coast swing dancers dance lead-follow, improv.

Language and truth are among the themes in this series. They are works of honesty and nonverbal communication through body language of people socially dancing lead & follow in oil on canvas.
